Description
A Kia battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your automobile.It’s also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main purpose will be to start the Kia engine.
Power for the auto is supplied by the alternator once the engine is operating.
Typically, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to release a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, plus the lifespan of the Kia battery can be reduced by a full discharge.
